My ideal job description would be, programing custom built solutions which include researching for new hardware and software to provide in-depth applications and services for the company/team I'll be helping to support. I started working with FileMaker Pro 2 in 1994 and built my first commercial database for Global Vanlines in FileMaker Pro 3. I stopped using FileMaker full time after version 6, though I have done some updates of my older works to Version 7. Even though I haven't worked in the latest versions of FileMaker, I'm not worried about catching up with the any of new changes. Concerning my experience with the Mac OS, I've worked with every version of the Mac OS from 6.0.3 to the latest PPC and Intel builds of 10.4.9. For OS X Server, I moved our AppleShare Server to the original Rhapsody Server and have worked with every version of X Server since. I can read and make basic changes to PHP documents, like changing code from PHP 4 to 5. I have also written custom classes to work with XML documents in Realbasic. I'm currently using SQLlite, MySQL and PostgreSQL back-ends for several different projects, though I'm not a SQL language guru. And finally I use Apple Events, AppleScript, and Shell scripts to automate many different tasks and programs (with and without FileMaker involved). http://karvision.com/resume (Mac) http://karvision.com/StressAway.dmg (Win32) http://karvision.com/StressAwayInstaller.msi.zip
