Experience Stress Away Software 3/2006 - Present Developer I'm currently in the beta stage of a complete rewrite for a program called Stress Away. I've been porting an old Pascal Window's version of their program to a new code base to work with both Mac OS X and Windows. Palm Springs Follies 2007/06 - 2007/08 MIS Manager During my time with the Palm Spring Follies I helped solve their help desk problems while preparing them for an Open Directory (LDAP) system. I also built them three new OS 10.4 servers which encompass their File, FileMaker Pro, Kerio Mail, Netboot, Now Up To Date, Open Directory and Retrospect services. Fallbrook Directory 2004/02 - 2006/08 Operations Manager I returned to the Fallbrook Directory in 2004 to help move them from Pagemaker to InDesign. With the transition completed by the team, I return again in 2005 to help them move to full color and prepare for a new database system in 2006. Pacific Monarch Resorts 2001/02 - 2003/02 Regional Operations Manager My responsibilities at Pacific Monarch included but were not limited to: Management and training for all web and database development, data-entry, workflow, reports, database lead generation and management, maintenance of relationships with outside vendors and programming of custom workflow solutions for all of our marketing offices. Fallbrook Directory 1998/02 - 2000/12 Production Manager During this time with the Fallbrook Directory I helped to improve, speed-up, and maintain a new system of work-flow. This includes but is not limited to: Programming the listings and sales database in FileMaker Pro, in which the tracking, ad sales, and organization of all the ads and listings to be printed in the Fallbrook Directory phonebook are maintained and outputted for PageMaker. Supervision and help with the production of artwork and output. The design, implementation, maintenance, and management of all computing equipment including but not limited to: file and web servers, networks, computers, and peripherals. California Relocation Services - Global Van Lines 1995/09 - 1998/01 Database Programmer Designed, programmed and maintained the sales leads database in DBaseII and then later transitioned into FileMaker Pro. Part of my duties was database administration and fresh lead generation. Camp Oaks YMCA 1992/05 - 1992/09 Odyssey Teacher/Jr. Counselor Assisted Teacher in teaching high school students for summer school credits while set in a YMCA camp environment. I was chosen to teach the students BASIC programming language and typing while helping to correct papers for the teacher. Part of the Odyssey program involved transfer students from Japan and Taiwan as well as Easter Seals staying at the camp to participate in our classes and general camp fun. I had a lot of fun here teaching BASIC and helping the transfer students with their english. From 9-12 I was in class teaching computers and from 12-9 I was a Jr. Counselor for the YMCA camp, taking kids to activities.
